This incident has been resolved.
Between July 3rd 2PM PT and July 7th 9AM PT, customers were unable to upload profile photos through the standard upload flow.
While resolving a separate issue related to photo uploads, we unintentionally introduced a change that interfered with the normal profile photo upload process. This resulted in failed attempts to upload photos through the UI.
We’re improving test coverage around photo uploads and adding alerts to detect similar regressions more quickly in the future. We apologize for the inconvenience.
